Join us for food, learnings, and lots of fun at the DBX Dev Day on Wednesday, October 17. We'll kick things off at 1:00pm in our office, located on level 17 at 5 Martin Place.Â
 Â
Throughout the afternoon, we’ll cover everything from what's possible with the Dropbox APIs to the benefits of becoming a Dropbox partner.
Â
We'll also be offering a hands on getting started workshop from 3:00 - 5:30 PM for developers who aren’t familiar with the Dropbox APIs.
We'll end the day with a happy hour complete with food, beverages, swag, and raffle prizes. The Dropbox engineering, product, and business development teams from our San Francisco HQ will also be attending to answer questions and hear you ideas.
You're welcome to drop in for any sessions you find interesting.
Â
This event is open to any developers whether you have already built an integration with Dropbox or are just interested in learning more about the Dropbox APIs. There is no cost to attend.
Â
Keep reading to learn more about the day and see a detailed agenda.
Â
Join developers from some of Dropbox's partners in a discussion about their Dropbox integrations and lessons learned along the way.Â
The panel will feature Dropbox partners:
- Canva, an online design and publishing tool with over 10 million users across the globeÂ
- Nintex, a no-code solution to help businesses automate, orchestrate, and optimize processes
- Atlassian, team collaboration tools for development, project management, and code quality
Â
Â
If you are new to the Dropbox APIs, join us for a workshop that will walk you through the basics of the DBX Platform and how to build your first Dropbox app.Â
This section is meant for developers who have not built an app before using the Dropbox APIs, but have experience coding. The workshop will be led using Python; however you can code in the language of your choice using the Dropbox SDKs. If you're well versed in the Dropbox APIs, we'll have space for you to work and/or meet with the Dropbox team during this time.
While the Dropbox team is in town, we’re also offering office hours the day before and after the event where you can get some hands on help building your integration, or learn about joint marketing and partnership opportunities.Â
To schedule time with the Dropbox team, please book an appointment slot on this calendar. Please include information about what you're hoping to accomplish in the invite when you book.
